At Claritics, our goal is to simplify the entire analytics process so that app developers like you can access your data, gain insights from it and take action on it much faster and more easily than the way it’s typically done today. To that end, we are focused on creating analytics tools that automate as much of the process as possible, so that you don’t have to spend as much time setting up and configuring your analytics solutions and you can simply jump into the fun part of it – the part that lets you make major improvements to your user acquisition, engagement and monetization campaigns.
Today, we are extremely pleased to announce that several months of hard work have come to fruition with the launch of the latest version of our User Intelligence platform, Claritics 2.0. With this release we are officially coming out of beta and proudly offering the solution for all app developers on any social and/or mobile platforms.
Claritics 2.0 includes several significant upgrades and new analytics tools for app developers (more below), but perhaps the most important news here is that it greatly simplifies and accelerates the data to insights to action cycle by shipping with the industry’s largest assort of pre-defined cohorts, user segments and in-app events. We estimate that 80% of all the reports a developer needs are available in Claritics 2.0 right “out of the box.” This means less setup time and more automation for developers who are looking for powerful analytics tools without requiring a full-time resource just to configure their system.
That’s not to downplay the importance of the new analytics tools themselves. Claritics 2.0 offers cohort analysis, user segmentation and custom event tools that are simpler yet more powerful than most products available on the market today.
Taking Cohort Analysis as an example, Claritics 2.0 offers pre-built cohort groups including 1 day, 2 day, 3 day, 7 day, 30 day, 60 day and 90 day cohorts, and from there developers can further filter and analyze data based on age, gender, country and the channel through which the users were acquired—all handled automatically.
So let’s say you implemented a change to the way your users first enter the flow of your game. Maybe instead of making the tutorial optional, you forced them to walk through the tutorial when they first download the app so that they understand how to play the game. You want to see the impact of this change and how it affects game play and engagement. This is where cohort analysis comes in.
You can simply click on our Cohort Analysis tab, and because we’ve already configured various cohorts for you, all the data you’d need is right there for your review:
Or, if you’d rather see the same data presented as a chart, simply toggle over to the “Chart” view:
And now, suppose you want to drill down into this information further, in order to evaluate the performance of certain demographic or geographic groups within your cohorts. You’d simply have to select a cohort in order to drill down into a much more granular level of insight, which might look something like this:
And there you have it. You’re able to tell how many of your users are currently engaging deeper within the ggame now as opposed to before you altered the initial flow they must go through by steering them through the tutorial. If the change is positive, keep it. If not, you were able to quickly identify the results and adjust the game flow accordingly.
Below is a list of other changes that appear in Claritics 2.0. But before we get to that, we wanted to share what one of our most valued customers, Markus Weichselbaum of TheBroth, had to say about it:
“We’ve been very impressed with Claritics and how easy it is to conduct advanced analytics involving cohorts and user segmentation. With the launch of Claritics 2.0, they’ve made it even easier to dig deep into our users’ behavioral data to truly understand the dials and levers that affect engagement and monetization, so that we can get to actionable insights more quickly and make faster improvements to our games.”
